alright... here's my new bedroom carpet, sans giant green paint stain. the picture on the left shows the texture, the one on the right shows the color.

the new mirror and hand towel hook, hung sideways because i'm sheri. please note, this light fixture is history as soon as i can figure out a way to justify spending the $$ on the one i want. alas, i have my mom's taste but my own checkbook. life is so unfair. haha
i'm too lazy to figure out how to put these in the right order, but you'll notice the in progress curtains on top of my sewing machine. i'm getting there!
and last but not least, another painted vent cover. this isn't quite as well-matched as the one in the living room, but it's a heck of an improvement over what it was. (notice that once again, i've also painted the screws, rendering them virtually invisible, but rest assured the slits are still perfectly aligned).

looking good! i like the green. and i don't know what the carpet was before but i'm sure the unpainted version is an improvement. :)

I love the color...as for the lamp, you have Mom's permission to donate it to a poor person who needs a lamp and to buy a new one. Believe me, I checked...it's true...for real..

i ordered the light fixture, val was right, i did have permission. it came in last week right before i went to florida. now i just have to wait for darryel to get home from paris & i'll have new pix of the bathroom, i'm so excited!
