Hey, I just found out about this. Would have left something sooner had I known. Guess I've been out of the loop. Probably too much election stuff this year, seriously. And to think, I have another one coming up in just a couple of months. I can hardly wait.

Hey Sher, looked at your video and photos of your place, looks nice. I can't wait to visit and check it out. How much do you use that kitchen? Ha, Ha.

Tigger is on my lap, very hard to type with the cat on your lap. She thinks I'm petting her as I type this so she's purring like crazy. Good thing the dog doesn't want to be on my lap too . . .

Crazy board meeting last night, although it was a little mild compared to some we've had in the last couple of months. One of the Trustees asked me for my opinion on something she said and when my opinion differed from hers, she got a little snotty about it. Told me (with her nose tilted slightly up), "well, that's your perspective". And I said, "Yes, and you have your perspective too." I did say it with a smile on my face, but it did make one of the other board members chuckle. Why would you even ask someone else for their opinion if you weren't going to respect it? Maybe she'll stop asking me in the future, one can only hope she'll speak out less at the next board meeting.

Oh, so you probably don't want to hear about boring government meetings. sorry!

Hawaii was great!! Steve and I bought a digital picture frame so now we can catch a view of our pics every time we walk through the living room. It's pretty cool. Although they are on a random slide show so sometimes when I catch one I really have to think about where we were at when we took that picture, but it's still pretty cool. I'm ready to go back, I could get used to living there. The nice warm weather, waves lapping on the shore, walking around shopping all day . . . oh wait, if I lived there I'd have to work. That's no fun, I just want to play there. I'd probably have a heart attack every time I went to the grocery store, everything is so darned expensive. Steve and I bought some groceries while we were there and I had a really hard time putting stuff in our cart. I'd look at the price and promptly put it back on the shelf proclaiming, "I'm not paying that much for a gallon of milk!" Only $6. And a small pack of cheese slices was only $8.39. Yikes!! We need to hit the lottery. Oh, I guess you have to play the lottery first to win, huh?

Later . . .

ah thanks for writing...

glad you had fun in hawaii... and just so you know, when you live there, you get a card... i can't remember what it's called right now, but your groceries and all kinds of other stuff are a lot cheaper... i found a lot of things to be cheaper than they are here.

hahaha, I just read Randi's comment.. apparently we were in Hawaii about 2 days after they left. We were totally shocked by how CHEAP everything was compared to Australia.. I suppose she wouldn't want to visit there!!

don't call my blog stupid, that's probably the OTHER reason it doesn't like you... and yes, it's about the sweater.
