Thank you Dad!!
you wouldn't believe how difficult it was to find this faceplate... i looked all over home depot, all over lowe's, and all over the internet... and dad and good ole' new haven supply came through in the clutch... brace yourself folks, once again, for another dramatic before and after picture:

ha ha - your screws are vertical, all the screws in our house MUST be horizontal...I guess it runs in the family..
LOL-- Our screws are ALL vertical too! Mike is also OCD! I just realized that first line just sounds soooo wrong! Yikes!
